Stay connected with ETUG
The Educational Technologies User’s Group (ETUG) is a grassroots community of practice, and we could always use a few more roots. While we’re focused on post-secondary education in British Columbia, everyone is welcome to subscribe to the newsletter, join our webinars and participate in our workshops and conferences. You can stay in the loop if you sign up for our newsletter.
A quick plug for the Festival of Learning
Every second year ETUG joins with leaders in the scholarship of teaching and learning to present the Festival of Learning, coming up May 28 – 30 in Vancouver.

The 12 Apps Peeps
We’d like to acknowledge the contributions of the team who worked behind the scenes to get this show on the road. Organizing and administering the 12 Apps this year were Julian Prior and Keith Webster. Wisdom and backup were provided by Leva Lee and Clint Lalonde. A diverse group of educators and students shared their favorite Apps and created the mini-lessons accompanying each. They include:
App 1: Leva Lee, BCcampus
App 2: Sally Wilson, Ryerson University Library
App 3: Emily Schudele, Camosun College (eLearning)
App 4: Keith Webster, Royal Roads University, Centre for Teaching and Educational Technologies
App 5: Karen Budra & Julian Prior, Langara College, Educational Technology
App 6: Clint Lalonde, BCcampus
App 7: Sylvia Riessner, Educomm
App 8: Colin Madland, Trinity Western University
App 9: Dugg Steary, Fanshawe College & Royal Roads University
App 10: Charlotte Webster, Oak Bay High & Keith Webster, Royal Roads University
App 11: Jessica Motherwell, Justice Institute of British Columbia
App 12: Kendal Crawford, Brighton College
And special thanks to Robyn Humphreys (BCcampus) for the lovely graphics.
Best Wishes from all of us for a very Merry Christmas and a Happy 2018!
